The "Xcode 2.1 User Guide" probably answers all or most of your Xcode
questions. You'll find it in PDF and HTML at http://
developer.apple.com/documentation/DeveloperTools/Xcode-date.html
As for C++, I'm not aware of an appropriate Apple mailing list for
such questions (although some of your questions might be Carbon
questions?). Maybe try comp.lang.c++ and related groups on USENET?
