ObjC novice quick critique request

If this is not the appropriate place for this post I apologize - please point me to an appropriate forum :-) The ObjC list seemed to be more for language implementors.

After twenty some years away from C and now retired, I refreshed my C and am learning ObjC with the intent of doing a little software development in Cocoa.

I'm working my way through Kochan's "Programming in Objective-C" and have done a little obj and procedural mix & match of the reoccurring Fraction example in the book. Don't bite my head off :-) as it is just to explore syntax techniques. However, I would greatly appreciate anyone's take on what I did to make sure I have not missed an important point in using ObjC. Not many live bodies in these northern New England woods :-)

Any comments welcome - Thank you,
Lee C
