the suggestion was to set the framework's installation directory to
@loader_path/../Frameworks
However this is available only under 10.4.x.
I still don't know how to make it work when the app is running under
10.3.x, short of building the whole thing under XCode 1.5 (where it
seemed to just work; for whatever reason it all worked fine until I
upgraded to Xcode 2.1);
