Marc,

this guide from Apple might be useful. They describe how to create a simple cocoa application with interface and how the 2 sides get 'glued' together using interface builder.

hello phil, all

thank you very much , i was looking at the page markus suggest , http://www.cocoadev.com/index.pl?CocoaWeblogs

a lot of information !!!....,but i think, i will start with a simple application to learn how all these components work together.

As far as i understand i dont have to worry about different code, so xcode can handle all of it , whatevers it is
java , objective c , or c++ . I was not sure if its better to start with eclipse or xcode , because a lot of people told
me that i could do anything with ECLIPSE too. My only concern was that i want to make a different version of my programm
for symbian http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/0,6566,40_4,00.html and i did not know if this is possible in xcode or
if i had to change my developer enviroment.

sorry for bothering with my question and thank you all for sugestions

have a nice day

--- built OpenMash against the TclTkAqua frameworks for a more native look & feel, although, there are still some widget sizing issues.
I've made the binaries available for download @ http:// homepage.mac.com/netmaster_bruce/ as openmash-aqua-20050118.dmg.bz2
To use it, you will need to install TclTkAqua from tcltkaqua.sourceforge.net (I used the Batteries Included version).

i found out that all these mostly comand line applications have no user interface or a .config file to run them.
its mostly needet that you have x11 and tcl/tk installed.

I would like to start a bit getting into building some simple interfaces with interface builder / xcode
for a old video tool or a java based reflector.
