When I create a new project, it adds the default frameworks from /System/Library/Frameworks/. If I'm targeting the 10.3.9 SDK (SDKROOT is set to /Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.3.9.sdk), should I replace the frameworks in the project to the frameworks in that SDK? I didn't see mention of this in the docs.

Use the frameworks from the current system. When building, Xcode sniffs for absolute paths into system locations (/System and /usr) and prepends the SDKROOT to those.
