debugger pause when inside of mouseDragged code

  • Subject: debugger pause when inside of mouseDragged code

I'm debugging some drag-n-drop code, and after I hit my first breakpoint, Xcode won't respond until after some amount of time has expire (N seconds?) This is inside my view's mouseDragged code, but before I've called dragImage.

What's going on and can I get around it?
