SCM and Bundles - again
SCM and Bundles - again

Using Tiger 4.2, XCode 2.2.
The XCode User Manual 2.1 Appendix B and Appendix C discuss CVS and
Subversion for SCM.
In particular bundles and packages need to be wrapped (for CVS).
I searched the XCode archive and came up with Chris Espinosa's e-mail
of 13 Jul 2005 where he replies to Ben Grubin.
He comments on the deprecated "cvswrapper" feature and mentions the
current CVS client in 10.4 (as well as ocvs).
Basically he repeates the User Guide info.
Now I'm simple minded here on this; all I want to do is use XCode and
run a local repository, (which I have setup) and have my mods saved.
It is entirely unclear to me whether or not I can only do this for
bundles/packages using the command line.
Or whether I can do it from within XCode - which is what I think
should be happening.
(Yes I know how to use Terminal and the command line - but why should
I have to in 2005 from a GUI IDE?)
[Besides I'm semi-retired after 40 years developing SW, my eyesight
is not what it used to be, etc etc]
Surely to goodness what I wish to do must be possible but I just
havn't found the correct proceedure and accompanying documentation.
Please pont me in the right direction and TIA.
respect...
Peter
