That was fixed in Tiger, by the way. WebKit now copies
characters in HTML as plain spaces rather than non-breaking Unicode
spaces.

should check the text encoding of your file against a new one of the
same type (File Info, General tab).
Would you tell me how to remove the invisible characters?
Xcode -> Menu -> Format -> Show Control Characters, then use
Backspace.
