In Xcode 2.*, the class modeling tool does not have the capability to do incremental layouts. The entire model will get re-laid out on adding classes, removing classes, or re-indexing the project.


I realize this is less than ideal. If you want this capability, I would encourage you to write up a bug so we have the feedback.

By the way, this is a terrific tool for browsing projects...
