Setting a breakpoint causes a crash?

  • Subject: Setting a breakpoint causes a crash?

I'm using Xcode debugging a program (C++ carbon command-line tool) that uses libxml2.

If I set a breakpoint on a routine in the dylib, my program crashes (EXC_BAD_ACCESS, deep in libxml2).
[ It doesn't crash immediately upon setting the breakpoint, but later, processing input ]

If I don't set the bp, it doesn't crash.

Any ideas?
