Error creating new project (2.1)

Hi,

I recently formatted and reinstalled my system (10.4.2) and installed XCode 2.1. Now, when I try to create a new or open an existing project, I get an Internal Error

Method: buildSettings

Don't invoke this method when build configurations are enabled.

Quit or Continue

I can Continue and things seem to work but what's up? I haven't had this problem until just recently when my Mac decided to play PeeCee and start giving me all kinds of trouble. I would have though such a clean re-install would solve problems. Anyway, anyone have any advice? Should ignore and continue?
