If I recall correctly Steve said in his keynote at the 2005 WWDC that
Leapard would be the last Mac OS that would run on a PowerPC.

The best way is to use http://bugreport.apple.com with your ADC
account. Filing bug reports/enhancement requests is
certainly the way to go.
