What is the penalty of *not* pre-binding for machines below 10.3.4? I
have to support from 10.3.0 up, and for those machines (perhaps 1/10th

start time?
As it happens pre-binding isn't working in my build right now (you
mentioned fragile ;) and I'm wondering how much benefit I might stand to
gain vs. how much work to get pre-binding working.

In my case, I HAVE to use it, because my program won't link without it.
Don't ask me why, but if you have a burning curiosity to find out, I would
be happy to help you find out why. Just contact me offline at
this address, but use the same subject line.
