Yes, I did.

I also noticed that the uninstall script left /Developer and some odd
contents, so I deleted that.

A friend just suggested to remove these, which are also left behind after
running the uninstall script:

/Library/Application Support/Apple/Developer Tools
~/Library/Application Support/Apple/Developer Tools

I uninstalled and removed these, rebooted, and reinstalled.  Presto!  No
more crashing!
