I believe there is a way to override this file by putting it in ~/
Application Support/Apple/Developer Tools or some such path. You
can edit the various keywords.
Ah yes, it seems like a hack, but it works and the file in question
is:
~/Library/Application Support/Apple/Developer Tools/Specifications/
Built-in languages.pblangspec
However, Xcode itself has to built-in support for customized
keyword coloring the way CodeWarrior did.
What I find really odd is that one can control the number of
displayed types in the drop down menu so obviously the category
entries are calculable. This has been true since Project Builder.
Therefore, it seems to me that XCode should be able to have
languages.pblangspec files which have the typedefs and whatnot for at
least the basic frameworks (like CoreFoundation, CoreServices,
ApplicationServices, Carbon, Cocoa, etc.).
