Xcode SCM info

Hi,

I just managed to configure my Xcode 2.2.1 to work with my svn server on Linux. I am not very familiar with SCM in Xcode and I have some questions:

1.) Why are there "Commit Changes..." and "Commit Entire Project" in SCM menu?

2.) Let's say I added a new source file to repository and choose "Commit Changes...". The commit was successful and I received a post commit email stating the new revision number and etc. In Project Info window, the new Revision number will not be displayed even though I closed it and reopened it by clicking on the project info button. I find that in order to display the correct revision number, I will have to choose "Commit Entire Project" instead of "Commit Changes...". Why is it so?

3.) When I was trying to commit a project, a SCM Error: svn: Commit failed (details followed): <blank> appeared. The details was not displayed as mentioned in the SCM Error. I then went to the console and did "svn ci" manually and found the following errors:

svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: Working copy '/Users/adrian/Desktop/workcopy/hrpmac/trunk/build/hrpmac.build/hrpmac.pbxindex/strings.pbxstrings' is missing or not locked

To overcome this problem, I have to use custom build location. Why? Is there any way to not having to use custom build location?

Thanks and best regards,
