1) Look in the Build Settings list and see what the actual flag is
for a given setting. It's usually given in the Description box at the bottom of the inspector. In this case I think you're looking for
-Wno-deprecated-declarations .

Thanks, Chris. In this case I was confused by its name -- I thought if I wanted to prevent deprecation, I'd use a flag with "no" in its name.
