unix libraries and cross-plateform compilation

  • Subject: unix libraries and cross-plateform compilation

Hi,

is there any way to compile cross-plateform applications that use unix static libraries (libpq, libgsoap, ...) ?

I tried to compile my app for ppc an ppc-i386. No problem with single ppc, but with ppc-i386, i got some "undefined symbols" errors.

Does it mean that static libraries should be cross-plateform compiled ?
- If yes, is there any documentation on this subject (cross plateform compilation with GCC).
- If no, is it possible to include compiled librairies for both environment in XCode (something like libgsoap-ppc + libgsoap-i386) ?

Thanks and best regards,
