Is it the pointing hand cursor?
I had noticed that if I had the Google Maps dashboard widget
installed, it would change the cursor even though Dashboard was not
open. I have no idea if this was ever fixed. Try closing all your
widgets and seeing if the problem goes away.

I've still not found a satisfactory solution to the above problem,
nor can I detect an obvious pattern to it (e.g. it doesn't seem to
occur after running some other app, etc.) If anyone has further
suggestions to make, I'd be very grateful to hear from them.
