Using XCode to target other CPUs?

  • Subject: Using XCode to target other CPUs?

I'm just getting started with XCode (I've used CodeWarrior for many years). I was wondering if it would be possible to use XCode with a set of GNU tools targeting the Atmel AVR microcontroller. I'm able to build and use the tools from the command line, including avr-gcc and avr-gdb (which uses a program called avarice to bridge gdb to the development environment as a remote gdb target). Is it possible to configure XCode to build a project and use those tools?

TIA!
