Almost sounds like Xcode is handling the standard AppleEvents itself, suspending the events, but never handling them.

It may sound like this, but Xcode doesn't do that. It's a Cocoa app and Cocoa is handling the info from LaunchServices. The original post showed that Xcode was able to open the file on its own devices just fine.


We've never seen this before, so if your LS database isn't the problem, and no other apps exhibit this syndrome, we're stumped.
