Because this way, you ask the Xcode team to make a CodeWarrior clone? If one works intensively with one app, switching to another app with another mental model is tough. Always, indepentendly of how superior the new mental model is.


The only way to deal with this is to start with the new app at the bare basics. Do tutorials, compile Hello World apps. I'd almost recommend removing the CW -> Xcode converter. One would learn quickly and the time invested would pay out soon.
