Interface Builder Outlets

Hi,

I'm trying create some outlets/actions in Interface Builder by Ctrl- dragging a connection from one element to another, for nextKeyView for example. But as soon as I hit another element I could connect to, the action freezes. The new element doesn't highlight and the dragged line just freezes in place. I can click somewhere else to make the line go away, but I just can't make any connections. Clear bug in IB I'd say. And I don't know any other way to create a connection.
I'm on OS 10.4.3 with the Development Tools straight from the Tiger Install CD and Interface Builder 2.5. I s'pose downloading the newest Xcode release would solve the problem, but there's no broadband connection available to me for some time to come, only dial-up modem.

Any advise on this issue?

Thanks, Cheers,
Dav
