These guys aren't part of the target audience for XCode. They'll use
something like Emacs or vi as the editor, gdb as the debugger, gcc as
the compiler, and makefiles to tie everything together. They will
typically never open XCode, installing it only for the purpose of
getting gcc, gdb, and the header files.
