Binaries created with Xcode 2.2 on any PPC, DTS, or Intel machine are certified for the new machines, but we stringly recommend that you qualify those apps on 10.4.4 on PPC and the new platforms before shipping.  

10.4.4 does not run on DTS machines, nor will it.  The DTS machines use a different processor architecture than the machines shipped today, and Apple does not expect to ship production machines with the DTS architecure.
