OTHER_CFLAGS

Can anyone confirm that OTHER_CFLAGS is a build setting with per-architecture variants in XCode 2.2?

In other words you should be able to set
OTHER_CFLAGS_ppc
and
OTHER_CFLAGS_i386

and have those CFlags passed to the appropriate compiler calls, for the appropriate architectures.

The on-line documentation (http://developer.apple.com/documentation/DeveloperTools/Conceptual/XcodeUserGuide/Contents/Resources/en.lproj/index.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40001871) says that it is, but I can't get it to work.
