Special characters in templates files

Hi,
I try to make my first template file in Xcode. I was pretty difficult for me because I was trying to put special characters like french accent (é, à, è). XCode seems to not like them, so he's just ignoring all the keywords (ex. : ¬´FULLUSERNAME¬ª ). If I strip all my template file of my special characters (over 128 in the ascii table), Xcode does the right thing.
Is there a way to put special characters in a template file?

Thanks

Jasmin Lapalme
