XCode debugger issue

I've downloaded the QTCoreImage101 example.

http://developer.apple.com/samplecode/QTCoreImage101/QTCoreImage101.html

It builds and runs fine, however when I run it in the debugger it crashes inside the loadNib routine.

Any ideas why there is this difference between run and debug?
