There is an application in /Developer/Applications/Utilites called
FileMerge.app You can use that to compare two files. Not sure if you
can invoke it from within Xcode (though I am pretty sure it's what
the app uses when doing CVS compares, and interface builder too)
Then there is always diff too :-)

The Compare options are only enabled if CVS or other system is
enabled and
only if the cvs information is already generated.
There doesn't seem to be any sort of pure text compare available in
the GUI.
