Actually, from the command line, opendiff fileA fileB will open
FileMerge on the two files. This is analogous to the "open" command
on the command line.

The Compare options are only enabled if CVS or other system is
enabled and
only if the cvs information is already generated.
There doesn't seem to be any sort of pure text compare available
in the GUI.
