If you have TextWrangler, "twdiff fileA fileB" is the analogous
command. I much prefer TextWrangler's diff because I can edit the
files while diffing them. If you don't have twdiff installed, launch
TextWrangler, go into Preferences -> Tools, and click "Install
Command Line Tools". I configured Xcode to use TextWrangler for CVS
diffs, by going to Preferences -> SCM -> "View comparisons using:".
I was going to say that TextWrangler is much faster than FileMerge at
opening files, but I just tried FileMerge and from a quick test it
*seems* to have been sped up since I last used it, though this may be
due to my having a faster new laptop now.
