Title: Re: Xcode project hosed?
Thanks for the offer Chris.  (and thanks for the info Daniel ) I’m trying a few things now.  I deleted the particular Build Configuration and that seems to have helped.
If that doesn’t solve it I may take you up on your offer.

Odd thing now I’m getting a couple of .cp files compiled twice(?) When linking it’s finding duplicate .o files that were created at the same time and complains about multiple definitions.
Not quite sure how that would happen.

Scott

I believe that usually these internal Xcode errors are triggered by -[NSException raise] in the source code.  You may be able to set a breakpoint (yes, with gdb attached to Xcode) and gather clues.  I admit this is a somewhat gallant effort to ask of a developer, but if you're curious and really determined not to lose your project and start from scratch, it may be your only choice.

I have used a combination of gdb debugging and manual editing of project files to repair situations like this before.  Best of course is if you have a backup copy of the project file before the corruption occurred.  You might find my blog entry on the subject of debugging an Xcode error dialog:

Either inspiring or discouraging :)

Or you could send us the bad project file, we'll take a look at it, see what's wrong, and probably fix it and send it back to you.

Chris
