No. Xcode is not a graceful introduction to computer programming for the novice. You might try AppleScript Studio, a flavor of Xcode that lets you write in the AppleScript language, but you still need some grounding in how computer programming works. 2.- Should I prefer something easier and "dummy proof" like RealBasic.
That would be a better introduction, yes. 3.- Can anyone recommend me a good book to start a self teaching process.
There are a ton. And it's even reasonable to start with C as your first programming language, but most good introductions use the command line to enter and build programs. Once you get the basic idea of compiling, linking, and debugging using the low-level tools, moving into the IDE world will make much more sense.
4.- It is possible to really learn Xcode without experience in programming, the closest thing to a code that I've seen was watching the Matrix movies.
No. 5.- I can write my own scripts using lingo, but I think that does not count as real programming, I'm right?
That is an eternal debate, and you can substitute AppleScript/BASIC/whatever and have the same debate.
