Not sure what you're getting at, 'cause cmd-x with caps lock on does not send a cmd-shift-x event. The topic was command keystrokes, not text entry.

In any case, this is now off-topic.. so to stem any further replies,
please try to understand the facetiousness in my previous post.  My
humour is drier than usual today.
