The fact that Xcode allows you to undo past the last save is somewhat unique as most apps will only go back up to the point of the last save. Most folks may not realize if they've gone past that point. Now, if you go past a saved point, your next save will will wipe out whatever it was you'd saved past that undo point.
Maybe you should save less often...
