PICT control problem.

  • Subject: PICT control problem.

Hello.

I'm trying to use a PICT control in a simple Carbon app, but when the program runs, nothing shows up. All the other controls work fine, but the PICT control doesn't display.

I add the PICT control by dragging it from the Enhanced controls tab in Interface Builder to "Window", and it all looks fine, I can even do File->Test Interface in IB and it looks great.
No output, no warnings when it runs for real though.

My test image "Moon Travel Planner", but I've got the same problem with resources I've created myself.
XCode 2.3, Inteface Builder 2.5.4, on Tiger 10.4.6 PPC.

Any hints or suggestions where to look?

Cheers,

John.

My steps:

1. Create a new "Carbon application" in Xcode.
2. Add the resource file to the project (Project->Add to project).
3. Double click Main.nib
4. In Interface builder add a PICT control to Main Window by dragging.
5. Drag the image from the IB images tab to the PICT control.
6. Save changes
7. In XCode build and go.
