Unresponsive debuggerer

  • Subject: Unresponsive debuggerer

I'm debugging a programme which occasionally runs amok. When it does so, everything freezes up (except the programme I'm debugging), and I'm unable to click the STOP button, or indeed anything else on the screen inside or outside of Xcode. The system won't even respond to the Command-Option-Escape key combination.

I'm a refugee from Windows, so you can imagine my chagrin. Might there be a debugger flag somewhere that I haven't set properly?
