gcc 4.1 and Xcode 2.2+

Does anyone have any info (or rumors?) on the xcode/gcc roadmap into the
coming year or so? For example, will we have to wait for 10.5 for another
xcode bump and gcc 4.1? I'm sure its possible to install 4.1 on to the
existing footprint, but there seems to be some risks there (not to mention
the PITA factor).

Thanks,
Andy
