Xcode 2.2 vs 1.5

Hello all,
I am learning to code for the Mac again, having last done so back when MPW/MacApp was the latest thing. I am running Mac OS 10.3 and have little motivation to update to 10.4, unless Xcode 2.2 is much more wonderful. I'd like to hear opinions on 2.2 vs 1.5, or point me to Apple's white-paper about the new release, or any other online article that would help.

Thank you,

Scott
