I have been trying to use the source tree feature in Xcode 2.2.1 but
there seems to be a problem when deleting a source tree.
I can create a source tree and set it up and it works correctly, but
then if I decide I don't want to use it any longer and I delete it
Xcode seems to still remember it, how do I get Xcode to REALLY
delete the source tree I created?
Is there something I have to throw away in order to really get rid
of it?
This is a known problem, unfortunately to really truly kill a source
tree you have to edit your Xcode preferences file (~/Library/
Preferences/com.apple.Xcode.plist).
Look for this key:
<key>PBXApplicationwideBuildSettings</key>
<dict>
<key>CODEWARRIOR</key>
<string>/Volumes/Local/Developer/CodeWarrior</string>
</dict>
Delete the dict entries you don't want. You can do this with
PropertyListEditor or in a text editor. You might have to run plutil -
convert xml1 on it first, as the default nowadays is binary form.
