software company, I will choose the QT for targeting multiple platform.

I think so, but only if you open source your project.

Well.. the CDT plugin for Eclipse is interesting. It can be very good
for C/C++ development. However, isn't it a Java program?

1/2 of it, yes. The other half of the IDE is native calls (using JNI), but this is getting way off topic.


I tried using
it before, but somehow I didn't like it.

It's heavily windows-workflow-oriented. People who don't like Xcode tend to like the flow of Eclipse which is why I mentioned it.


It sound like you need to write your own IDE because you seem to have specific wants - or at least quite a few dislikes.
