Chris,
I agree that technical lists should stay technical. It would be
helpful if there were also some community lists/forums for Apple
developers to just connect and share information of a more general
nature.

Okay, so if you didn't get any seeds and you didn't need the DTS
incidents, why would it be money well spent?
If you have questions or comments about ADC membership, please
contact ADC atdevprograms.apple.com. Apple's technical lists are
not the place to debate the merits of ADC membership.
