Hello Gargi,

I am not sure if this is the right list to consult, but here are a few pointers:

- A google search of "opengl os x" yields a wealth of informational resources. Have you consulted these?

- NeHe has an excellent and time-proven tutorial on OpenGL, including how to make it run on OS X:
http://nehe.gamedev.net/lesson.asp?index=01

- OpenGL works nicely with Carbon, and - if you want my personal opinion - even better with Cocoa.

Hi,
I am new to OpenGL as well as Mac OS.
I want to learn OpenGL and I have been reading about it.

My question is:-
1. where do I write and compile the progrms of OpeGL? That is, where EXACTLY do I write stuff like glClear() and other OpenGL lines of code to run the program???

2. How does Cocoa or Carbon fit into all this (if at all it does)?

Please reply asap... I have a project to start on!

thanks,
Gargi
