Not that I know. If you use the wrong format, it won't be picked up
at all in my experience.
Things actually changed over time. For a while, they did appear in
the errors smart folder, but disappeared as soon as you clicked on
them. And when you built the project again, the errors suddenly
reappeared in the errors smart folder, but now in duplicate. This was
in Xcode 2.1 (possibly also 2.0). As of Xcode 2.2, they don't appear
in the errors smart folder at all anymore.
I've reported this as radr://problem/4389264. Please feel free to
file a duplicate bug report referring to mine in order to bump the
importance of fixing this issue.
