This is one of those cases where before and after images
are usually clearer than words. Ah, ha! I've invented the
next great development in GUI -- animations instead of
static icons. Of course, they'll foul it up by making the
animations too short, repeat too often, and thus be just as
unclear and even more annoying as they dance around on your
screen while you're trying to concentrate. (sigh)
