I'm specifically referring to creating a new file via File -> New.

But even if you take you're approach, you'll have to add your headers
separately from your .c/.m files (I like to have both .h and .c/.m
files in my project).

Ultimately, the point is that 95% of the time you don't want to copy
headers anyway, and certainly not automatically.

Doesn't Xcode already have this? When you add files to a project you
get a dialog asking you which targets they should be added (or not
added to).
