Thanks, after some trial and error I figured out how to do it.
Afterwards, I found this nice video of how to do it. I'm glad the
video pointed out that the drag and drop step is non-trivial as
that's the step that took me a while. I didn't see this discussed in
the Xcode documentation or the Beginning Xcode I borrowed from a
library.

Thanks for finding and sharing that movie. I was also struggling with using a custom framework -- in my case, I was trying to add the Loki framework (i'm using Loki Singletons) and Alexandrescu failed to set up the Xcode project correctly. Being new to Xcode, I was just about ready to write to this list asking for help when I saw your message. The movie solved my problem.
