Title: Re: "Quick" Bookmarks
I found this in the Xcode help

To create a bookmark, open the location you want to bookmark and choose
Find > Add to Bookmarks
key equivalent is ctrl-D

The bookmark will be listed in the drop down menu in the text editor window tool bar

haven't used it myslef so don't know  how it compares to CW etc.

Edward

Why not split the window in multiple pieces and scroll to the places you want to compare? (Or conversely, just open a second window containing the file and scroll to different places, hitting command-` to flip back and forth.)

To split a window, hit the little horizontally split box above the vertical scroll bar in any source file window.

XCode 2.4.1

Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to do bookmarks in XCode like Codewarrior
and VC++ do them? That is, there's to key bindings to set and clear a quick
bookmark in a text file, and then another key to step  between bookmarks in
the file.

The bookmarks in XCode seem powerful in that they're saved with the project,
and you can jump between files, but not as handy for quick bookmark setting,
use and clearing, for example when briefly jumping back between two or three
bits of code in a file to compare things.

Thanks,
Michael
