By reading the accompanying release notes. One thing that was
however not very clear to me is that you always have to create an
Xcode subdirectory in the mentioned new locations (e.g. it's /
Library/Developer Tools/Shared/Xcode/Project Templates). I actually
had to do a ktrace/kdump on Xcode before I figured that one out, but
when rereading the text then I saw it could indeed be read like that.
Yes, the new Xcode subdirectory is intentional, since we needed to be
able to segregate support files by application.
If you think the existing documentation is unclear or insufficient,
please file a bug.
