I'm working with IB 2.5.3 (443) on Intel.
I was trying to modify the EnergySaver bundle to put the 'Schedule
window' stuff into it's own tab of the main window. All the Schedule
stuff is in a separate NSPanel instance, but if I try to copy the
objects from their to the main window (NSWindow), the objects copy
but all the actions and outlet connections are lost. Is this the way
things *should* work, or a bug, or is there a workaround.
I'm just guessing, but it might be that for the outlets/actions to
be retained, the NSPanel needs to know about the scheduleController
object. But if that's the case, there's no way that I can see to
connect a controller object to a view object so that one 'knows'
about the other's instances/methods (and so can find the correct
links) except by actually making the links from objects to controller
methods.
